For most of us, we have a makeup routine that we stick to. Neutral shadows, liners, and black mascara – pretty much whatever gets us out the door the fastest in the morning. This spring, the status quo for makeup palettes has been broken. Bold, bright hues are taking the stage, and the top 3 choices for eyes that really pop? Teal, peach, and violet.

Although these colors may not be your typical day-to-day palette choices, it can be fun to play around with them. Instead of putting on a full eyeshadow look, you can try adding just a pop of colored shadow to the inner crease of the eye. Or, if you’re looking to really change things up, invest in a great colored mascara, like this one from Sephora.

Also hot right now is doing a neutral eye with a bold lip. If you’re tight on time, you can even go bare on the eyes and draw all the attention to your lip color. Very French, if we do say so ourselves!

Our favorite color popping duo is the intense n’ stay eyeliner from Your Best Friend, paired with their tantalizing turquoise shadow stick. With awesome staying power, these two products last all day. The pigment strength offers a great pop of color to the typical routine. While full-on turquoise and teal may be a bit much for everyday wear, the liner looks great on the lower lid paired with a black liner on the top.
