What To Wear For Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Finally the day when you can forgo your diet and enjoy extra helpings of turkey and mashed potatoes! In my family, we literally eat two Thanksgiving dinners - one with my husband's family in the late afternoon, and one with my side in the evening...seems like a bit overkill, but it's the best way for us to spend time with both families. Needless to say, outfits for this holiday must be loose fitting!

Since Thanksgiving is a perfect time to spend with family and close friends, you probably won't have to dress to impress. But while sweats and a loose top seem like the most comfortable outfit, it's definitely not the most fashionable! Here are a few ideas for creating a comfortable, yet pulled together look for Thanksgiving or any family holiday.

Zoa Ribbed Tank Vince Double Layer Drape Cardigan Hue Skinny Jeanz Leggings
Guinevere and Co. True Love Necklace 7 For All Mankind Gaston Suede Boots

1) Chunky Cardigan: For full-on coziness, try a chunky knit cardigan like this one by Vince ($325). It's easy to wrap up in and covers post-turkey bloatedness.

2) Skinny Pants: An elasticized waistband is key for thanksgiving day. No one wants to hassle with constraining zippers! Jeggings or Leggings will do the trick. Love these grey ones by Hue ($34) because they have jean seam detailing.

3) Tall Boots: Go for a soft flat boot that feels like a slipper, but doesn't look like one. 7 For All Mankind's Gaston Suede Boots ($495) have a rubber sole and faux fur lining and make a great choice.

4) Long Necklace: Finish off the look with some simple jewelry, like a long necklace. The Guinevere and Co. True Love Necklace ($29.50) has pretty braided silver detailing and is on sale too!

5) Long Tank: Layer a Long tank or t-shirt under the cardigan. Something that covers the tummy is a must and will make anyone feel better about that second helping of sweet potatoes! Zoa's Ribbed Tanks ($28) are super comfortable and come in basic black or white.
