| From our friends at The Find:

Chainmail jewelry, or metal mesh, may conjure up ideas of Studio 54 (if you can relate) or for the younger generation, that heinous scarf top that Julia Stiles wore to the club in "Save the Last Dance." While neither of those images are particularly modern, chainmail is actually totally hot nowadays in the realm of jewelry, especially in pewter as opposed to gold. I love how metal mesh has that shimmery movement -- it's slinky and sexy without looking gaudy like chunky jewels often do (as long as you don't overdo it!). Keep things minimal while still making a statement with this scarf-necklace hybrid by Marciano, or just add a dash of flash with a pair of dangly Dereon earrings. Chainmail works best when you don't already have a lot of glitz on your outfit -- in other words, if you're already rockin' a sequined dress, it may be best to give the metal mesh a rest! On the other hand, you can easily dress up a more demure outfit -- and go from day to night -- with the addition of a shimmery necklace like this one from Urban Outfitters!
