For a couple seasons now, we've seen military, surplus and utilitarian-inspired looks on runways and on celebrities alike. The military trend was carried through during Spring/Summer 2010 runway shows as well, and looks like it's sticking around for a bit. Characteristics seen on military styles include epaulets, fold-over collars, mandarin collars, broad shoulders and brass buttons.
