| We all know that nail polish trends come and go, just like fashion trends. What are the hot colors for summer? We are still seeing blues and greens, along with corals and peaches. Among the mix are various shades of brown, from chocolate to cinnamon. And with summer sandals exposing so many toes, there's no need to save these fun colors for your hands. They have a way of making a statement on your toes too!
Mint Green

As seen in the Chanel Cruise 2011 runway lineup, minty fresh greens are still going strong this summer. Like turquoises and blues, the light color really pops against tan skin. Summer's light and airy ensembles works well with this daiquiri ice shade - from pretty pastels to khakis and neutrals.

Coral & Orange:

These pretty brights range from punky oranges to preppy peaches and everything in between. Another hue that makes a summer glow stand out, these look amazing when paired with neutrals and metallics. A glam bronze metallic gladiator sandal would look perfect paired with bright coral pedi.

Brown:

Chanel’s Spring 2010 lineup showed a smattering of light chocolate nail color that accented nubby knits and textured fabric. We're wearing this now with subdued summer palettes - think blush and crème silks. In contrast to orange and green, light browns act more like a nude shade, and blend into skin. Experiment with different shades from light to dark to get the look you want.
