If you haven't been too busy frequenting the other bargain departments at the always-popular Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to peruse the new additions to the store's beauty counters, you may have noticed MAC's latest Haute & Naughty mascara. I don't blame you for totally overlooking it for the sake of browsing the brand's combo sets and new limited edition colors, because if you've tried any of MAC's other mascara formulas and were as dissatisfied as I was with the clumpy, goopy consistency, you might have been automatically turned off at the thought of trying something similar. However, I'm pretty convinced that the Nordstrom Exclusive Haute & Naughty Lash solves the brand's mascara issues with its dual system, including a wiper and comb. It seems to deliver the same bold, color-richness without the clumpy messiness of the brand's previous mascaras, which were just a recipe for spider lashes!

As a recent false lash addict, I love how you can alter the drama of your lashes with a single sweep, as one applicator defines and combs for a natural look, and the other brings the impact with its concentrated formula. Since I swear by DiorShow Blackout, it's not exactly a splurge to switch over to MAC's Haute & Naughty lash ($18), but I'm still deciding whether or not I can commit to the change. Based on my testing, it's definitely worth the consideration for the sake of lush yet defined lashes!
