Given my affinity for sparkly shadow, and the abundance of glitter in my makeup collection, nowadays it's rare that I'll see a shiny shade and be particularly impressed. You know -- been there, bought that. But one look at Stila's Jewel Shadow Quad and I knew I had to have it! If you were a fan of Stila's Jewel Lip Glaze Trio, you may have had a similar reaction when you first laid eyes on this gorgeously shimmery quad, but as a green-eyed gal who has a special weakness for plum shadow, I pretty much instantly clicked "Add to Cart."

The quad contains 4 gem-inspired shades: Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Black Diamond, and Golden Topaz. I love that the colors are muted (to balance the extreme glitter, of course) -- no bright purples or neon green to be found -- making them wearable for any skin tone or eye color, as long as you're not afraid of a little glitz! Go all out with a pretty plum smokey eye (just please don't wear glittery lip gloss at the same time!), or tone it down by using the shades as liner only (try applying with a wet eyeliner brush for maximum effect)!
