| Trends come and go...and come again! Cropped tops are back and making their appearance on fashionistas everywhere. We loved CollegeCandy's recent tips on how to rock crop tops.
It brought back memories of the multitude of cropped sweaters I had in my closet in high school. I wish I had held onto some of those babies - little did I know a bare midriff would come back in style!
Like most fashion trends that rear their heads after some time off, the new look is updated and modern. Even if you've got the body of a supermodel, wearing today's cropped tops look best when balanced with clothes with a little extra coverage, such as a high-waisted pant or undershirt.
Summer's lightweight cropped knits are a great way to wear the trend while looking fresh and current. My favorite way to get the look is to pair a cropped sweater with a long white tank, skinny jeans and flats or heels.
The result is a casual, relaxed, wear-anywhere outfit.
