I've been using a flat iron on my hair for years now, and it's always been frustrating to never be able to get it as straight as my hair stylist does. Short of getting weekly blowouts (cha-ching!), I've resorted to throwing my hair in a pony tail for most of the week. The HANA Elite 1" Flat Iron I am using has 100% Ceramic plates, for optimum damage protection. Plus, they will never peel or wear down. The larger-sized plates mean that heat is more evenly dispersed. It has an adjustable temperature dial with 5 settings ranging from 140-450° F. This baby heats up quickly and gets hot! But, the nice thing is the handles do not get hot so you can use it comfortably. It is safe to use on damp hair - a bonus when time is short. A super long cord makes it easy to use when the plug is not near your mirror.
The 1" size is great for my medium-bodied shoulder length hair, but it is offered in a 1.5" size for thicker hair. It is also quite versatile - Not only can you achieve a straightened hair style, but you can also create soft curls, flip out or under. I found that on days that I did not fully straighten my hair, the HANA Elite was awesome for flattening flyaways, and just creating a more finished look to my hairstyle.
Overall, I love the HANA Elite Flat Iron and am ditching my old flat iron!
