Beauty Product Review: FusionBeauty LipFusion Luxe Boudoir Collection
Ok I'll admit it; I have a lip gloss obsession. I always have a tube or five in my handbag, of varying shades and brands. Even my two year old is starting to become infatuated with putting it on after seeing me apply it numerous times. Hey, a girl can never have too much lip gloss - you never know when you'll need it! The lovely folks at FusionBeauty sent me some of their LipFusion Luxe Boudoir Capsule Collection Lip Gloss to try out, and this product has recently taken over as first choice in my gloss collection.

FusionBeauty LipFusion Limited Edition Luxe Boudoir Collection

FusionBeauty recently came out with a limited edition LipFusion collection called "Luxe Boudoir", with packaging featuring the Seven Bar Foundation's "Lingerie New York" model etched in to each tube. FusionBeauty and Seven Bar Foundation have partnered in their Kiss Away Poverty campaign, where $1 from the sale of each shade will benefit the campaign!

I tried a couple colors from the Luxe Boudoir Collection: Vixen & Lolita. Vixen is a mauve color and Lolita is a light pretty pink. Like all the colors in the Luxe Boudoir collection, they have tons of sheer sparkle for a shimmer effect. Both colors are great because they are light enough to go on over your regular lipstick, or you can layer the shade for a darker effect.

LipFusion lip gloss does double-duty as a shine enhancer and lip plumper. But it doesn't feel like the usual lip-tingling plumper. This formula goes on smooth, and feels like you are applying a layer of lip conditioner to skin.

How it works: Instead of delivering moisture directly from the product, LipFusion uses tiny dehydrated marine collagen microspheres which get absorbed by the skin and find natural moisture inside the lips. Once rehydrated, the micro-injected collagen spheres plump and swell the lip tissue. While it sounds complicated, all that really matters is that it works! The plumpness lasts for up to 48 hours. The best part for me, is that it doesn't feel like a typical lip plumper, which can sometimes be too strong. Also, the gloss action is smooth and lightweight, not too sticky or tacky.
